The movie is simply fabulous. If you like the Roxy & Elsewhere and Roxy By Proxy albums (if you like Frank Zappa at all, really) then unless you are lucky enough to have seen Zappa & the Mothers in this era at close quarters, seeing this music being performed is an absolute sauchukalupimpchapcafensbreakamkopha.coinfos:

For the novice Zappa fan reading this review, if you are curious about what all this hoo hah is about, simply pick up a copy of the original Roxy and Elsewhere album -- or if you have Tidal you can stream it in CD quality at this link-- and perhaps you will understand and appreciate this .

Sad thing is that "Son Of Orange County" and "More Trouble Every Day" on Side C of Zappa* / Mothers* - Roxy & Elsewhere were obviously recorded '74 at the "Elsewhere" locations (e.g. Auditorium Theater Chicago, Edinboro State College Pennsylvania) and are missing here on the previous ROXY -Shows of '73 IMHO deeply. Otherwise still historic.
