    May I also add that the brick wall is part of a living room (with large window opposite my "dilemma wall". The living room opens to a kitchen. The kitchen cabinets are glossy white, countertops marbled grey Corian (open to suggestion) and back splash (see pic below) there is going to be an oak brown table with high leather chairs (4 persons).
