    I watched this film only because it was made by Carlos Saura, so I knew it would be well done, even though I didn't know what Fados was. This CD is the soundtrack to the DVD of the same name. Fados is a style of music which evolved in Portugal and former Portuguese colonies--very soulful and beautiful. I listen to this CD very frequently--I.

    Wer in Portugal (vornehmlich Lissabon) dem Flair und dem Fado verfallen ist, ist diese CD wirklich zu empfehlen. Für Kenner des Fados wird diese CD wahrscheinlich zu kommerziell sein. Aber für die, die den Urlaub Zuhause bei einem Gläschen Wein nochmals passieren lassen wollen, ist diese CD /5(25).
